Happy times... Times are a changing.

I could cry I really could...

"It is a public health scandal that so many millions of people are having to suffer this condition when they don't have to," Deputy Leader of the Labour Party @tom_watson makes important call on halting the rise #diabetes at #NationalSummit

I could cry. I really could... It's all happening so quickly!

Yesterday I was on Channel 5 News...

Why?
As yesterday the UK government said that NHS chiefs are looking into the rapid weight loss approach to reversing Type 2 Diabetes.

Basically the results from the studies are in and it's conclusive.

The approach works for more than 50% of people and up to 80% of people in different demographics!

Professor Jonathan Valabhji, a consultant diabetologist at St Mary’s Hospital in central London, said research had shown almost 50 per cent of patients could see the blood-sugar disorder go into remission.

The NHS are now going to have to prescribe diet and exercise.

Rather than just drugs! It's amazing news. Does this mean we have WON?

I don't know - the petition and other work we did seems to have worked.
Or it was just well timed. A huge thanks to everyone that has helped. It looks like change it really coming... I could cry. I really could...

If @Tom_Watson can do it. So can we.
